Just want you to know I am still with you. I had to pray about starting Job which I presumed would be difficult to read at a time of personal loss. Contrary to my expectation, I am greatly encouraged to find that even the wisest of men have questions that may not be answered this side of heaven. That God will indeed make it all right in the end, and that as we look at the mighty power of our God in creation, we can just shut our mouths and confidently wait for Him to do what is best for us and for His glory.

As the thunder rolls, the lightening flashes and the earth quakes we can say...the author of it is our dear Friend, and we a safe nestling close to Him.

I have two more readings to finish up the month, but I cant wait for tomorrow or the next day, so I will sit down now and read ahead...would you like to join me?

Thank you Jim for posing that question to us - what would I do if this were my last day on earth? Hmmmm. I would try to see each loved one in my life face to face and tell them how special they are and how loved they are by me and by the Lord. What else would I do? I'm going to have to think about that one.

May we always be willing to do as you say and "talk to God about getting back on His pathway." One of my greatest challenges in life is to go with God's agenda and plan when it seems so opposite of what I think is best. One of the most profound lessons I am learning is to trust God and say "yes" to His plan and purpose for my life.

Hello!
I am not a member of your church, but live nearby, and have attended a funeral there. I am a Christian, who has not been very attentive to my faith, until this past Christmas, when my brother (who is Mormon) and his family visited with me. When I saw my oldest nephew, with his wife and new baby, the Holy Spirit came over me and told me that I had to do something before another generation was raised in the Mormon church. Since that time, I have been not only studying the Mormon religion, but renewing my knowledge of the Bible and its basic teachings. I have had a reawakening of my own spirit which has been inextinguishable! I have been spending several hours a day, every day, in study. My nephew and I are having an email dialogue going back and forth regarding our thoughts on Christianity. I have found a great many resources (books, audio tapes, CD's, DVD's, emails with former Mormons who are now Christians, etc.) that have helped me. Right now, I am working on my next email to my nephew that has to do with the Trinity. As you may know, the Mormon religion teaches that, not only are there three separate Gods of the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but there are many other gods who reign over distant planets. The Mormons also believe that they, too, may achieve godhood someday and have their own planet to reign over. The Trinity is such a difficult thing to explain and I have found some wonderful resources. I just want to say that, by searching your website, I found "The Knowledge of the Holy." What a terrific explanation of the Trinity! So, I thank God for directing me to your website and I will stop in again to read your thoughts. God bless all of you!

Hi

I am very much enjoying reading through the Bible with you.

Though I have read through many times, it is always new and heart building. I love to pray through the Bible, so I often spend many hours over a few chapters, as the Holy Spirit applies the "Word of Truth" to people and circumstances.

I just finished Numbers today and left the Isrealites ready to cross the Jordan and take the land. How wonderful for them to sleep peacefully remembering what God had promised , "I AM giving it to you". How much more we, as we face our tomorrows, our giants and our fortified cities. We can go confidently armed with our spiritual weapons and knowing we will win. Hooray for our great God!!

Thanks for the challenge to read and be reminded...many are joining us in the faith journey, and will rise up and conquor because of it.

Good Morning,
I am a new student in this study and wish to purchase The Daily Walk Bible. I have attended
SWCChurch and Catherines classes during winters
past but remain in Vincennes Indiana this year. Finding this online study is a God send; I want to be drawn closer,to prepare myself for teaching and bring Catherine's work to my small community. I know Catherine is divinely inspired. Please advise how to buy the Bible.
Thnaks, and GOd Bless. Marilyn McCormick
